In the past few months, I have been stuck in the the Chris Ryan book series. I have read two encapturing books: Twister and Vortex. In twister, Ben and his friend are faced with a powerful hurricane wich spawns a twister. To make matters worse, they are lost in the Everglades National Park with the help of another person - Danny. Ben and his friend soon find out however, that Danny is working with a team who want to blow up an oil refinery as revenge for the death of his sister. Will Ben and his friend be able to escape all of this???
In vortex, Ben and Annie (his cousin) go on a hike to spot hen-harriers, an endangered species of bird. A nearby military base however are inventing new weapons using newly discovered technology. The military are using these birds to test and demonstrate their newly invented weapons...
